Relation Type Fields

For all names other than the the GCD Official Name, you can state how the name relates to the the GCD Official Name. The drop-down box contains the following types of relationships:

• Employee - choose this if the named person is acting as an employee of the person identified with the GCD Official Name
• Owner - choose this if the named person is the owner of the company identified with the GCD Official Name.
• Similar name - choose this if the named person has a name similar to the person identified with the GCD Official Name, and the names could be confused or may need disambiguation.
• User - choose this if the named person used the GCD Official Name, such as with a house name.

This field is optional to fill in.
