About Comics - Any article about comics stories, strips, and panels, their creators, their publishers, or profiles or histories of comics features, characters, or publications.

• Indexing 'About Comics' Issues
  • When indexing an issue in a series that has the 'Has about comics' box checked, the following types of stories can be indexed:
    • Comic Story
    • Photo Story
    • Cover Reprint (on interior page)
    • Cartoon
    • Comics Form Advertising
    • Preview
    • About Comics
  • If the 'about comics' story type is selected, two additional fields can be filled out:
    • Abstract
    • DOI (Digital Object Identifier)
  • These fields are intended for articles from academic journals and the abstract and DOI of the article being indexed can be copied into these fields.
  • If the issue consists of at least 10% indexable sequences, Cover scans can be uploaded
  • If the issue consists of at least 50% About Comics sequences, the following can also be indexed. (Note: At least 50% content has to be indexed and approved prior to adding these)
    • Covers
    • Illustrations
