No.  We don't claim any copyright on the covers or the scans.  If we were to allow easy access to the covers, it might be seen as "distribution", which is where copyright gets sticky.  If you would like to download each one individually, that is ok.  Please give credit to the GCD whereever you use them.  Also, please do not link directly to the covers, as this "leaches" bandwidth from our site and can cause us instability.

NOTE: The format and timing of Data Distribution is currently under discussion. Take all information here with a "grain of salt".

What is the Data Distribution?

The GCD strives to make its data as available as possible. Along with the website, we also make the raw data that makes up the credits in the GCD available on a semi-regular basis.

What is the format?

Please see the Current Schema page. It is distributed as a .gz file for MySql.

How do I get it?

Email [email protected] to get on the list. The last version is available for download here

How often is it updated?

The live data on the website is updated constantly, the data dump is done inconsistently.

What rights does the GCD retain? What rights do I have?

To be updated.

How should I credit the GCD?

To be updated.

Can I get all the covers?
