In addition to the general credit formatting rules, the following apply specifically to the inks field.
- Required for Comic Story or Cover sequences, Optional on all other types of sequences
- This field can also be used for assistants and other secondary artists.
- Painted artwork is noted in the Pencils, Inks and Colorist fields as "Artist (painting)" in each field.
- Photographs are noted in the Pencils, Inks and Colorist fields as "Artist (photograph)" in each field. Color, two and three-color photographs are credited in the pencil, inks, and colors fields. Black and White photographs are credited in the pencil and inks fields.
