Creators

• Creator entries to investigate from the Who's Who of American Comic Books and then to be added to the GCD if needed.

• Who's Who creator data needed to be manually imported into the GCD, "To be confirmed against the Who's Who entry."

• GCD Creators with No Sort Name

• Re-write synopsis with solicitation/Previews text (search words "solicitation" or "preview") Stories with 'per solicitation' text

• Type "filler": Lots of stuff in this type that needs to get sorted out (blank pages, credits, tables of contents etc.)

• Indicia/Colophon Publisher year inconsistencies, with issues published outside the period from begin to end dates.

• Issues With Multiple Covers that need to be moved to Variant Issues.

• Series Country doesn't match Publisher Country

• Issues with more indexed pages than total pages.

• Feature field with "/" to separate two features - need to be changed to semi-colons. Some of these are correct usage of the slash, but most are not.

• Issues missing on-sale dates: (sources for dates can be found in Useful indexer links)

  • DC series begun 1981-1991
  • Marvel series begun after 1960

• Variant issues without cover sequences - Cover sequences should be added at least to issues with different cover credits

Publisher Updates

• A page on Publishers has been started in the wiki. The page and its additional information is incomplete.
• A useful project would be to complete these pages.
• Some of this information belongs on the GCD Publisher page and can be transcribed there.
