Year / Month / Date Fields

For Birth and Death information, or Schools attended, enter the Year, Month and Date separately. If you are uncertain of any of these, check the appropriate "Uncertain" box. You can also enter the source of your data; see instructions on the Sources Fields page.

For Birth and Death information for individuals, enter the birth or death year. For other named entities, enter the first or last year of their operation. For legal name changes, the year of the change.

These fields are all optional to fill in.
