- Required field
- The title spelled as it appears in the indicia or title page.
- Leading articles ("A", "An" and "The") are placed at the end of the title, separated by a comma-space.
- Title is listed in upper/lower case, not all caps. Regular rules of capitalization apply. I.e., American comics should have non-initial articles, conjunctions, and prepositions in all lower case.
- Multiple series with the same title are differentiated by the dates of the series rather than any change in the data in this field (i.e. "Eternals" with a starting date of 2008, not "Eternals [4th series]"). If multiple series with the same title came out starting in the same year, we have to do something else which is not yet decided.
- Examples:
Superman Action Comics Adventures of Superman, The Patty Cake Christmas, A Best of the West
