- We do not use this field for numbering systems other than ISBN.
- If both ISBN 10 and ISBN 13 are listed, they are separated with a semi-colon. Example: "978-0-307-29063-2; 0-307-29063-8".
- A SBN, the 9-digit predecessor of ISBN, can also be entered, but it needs to be a valid one SBN.
- On the compare page a note will say if it is a valid ISBN/SBN. Also a link to WorldCat will appear for valid ISBNs.
