Publications that Don't Qualify for Inclusion in the GCD
The GCD has several rules about what qualifies for inclusion (need reference).
Frequently, we get questions about why certain types of publications or even specific publications are not included.
Below is a list of some of those publications that keep coming up, and the reasoning why they do not qualify for inclusion.
Big Little Books
- Reasons: Not in comic book format; not sequential comic art (prose text with illustrations)

- Reasons: Most are not sequential comic art (panel with a caption underneath)

Diamond Previews
- Reasons: Not sequential comic art (catalog); Not in comic book format
