Optional field
Per a Policy Vote of July 19, 2013, there is now a field at the Series level field for Publication Type. The purpose is to succinctly describe the publication format for user reference, such as 'book', 'magazine', or 'album'. At this time, only these three terms are allowed in the field, and they will display in a drop-down when editing a Series. Future votes may add other popular names.
