• Format: 4 digit year of the first issue of the series.

• Unknown Series Began date: If the date of the first issue is unknown, enter a best guess, or if you have absolutely no idea, enter 9999. This field will not accept anything but a four-digit number.

• Series Ended (Years of Publication, second field)

• Required field, if series has ended

• Format: 4 digit year of the first issue of the series.

• Unknown Series Ended date: If the date of the last issue is unknown, enter a best guess, or if you have absolutely no idea, enter 9999. This field will not accept anything but a four-digit number.

• If this series is currently being published, enter 9999. Leaving this field blank will mean that any updates to the series record will not "stick" in the database.
