Some info from the August 2006 archive.
Proposal: The data collected by the GCD shall be made accessible to the general public through a public, anonymous access ftp site. This data shall be updated on a regular basis by the data coordinator and/or web database master.
The above proposal has passed with all board members voting in favor.
