Former definition
- Required field, though this field is not used in tab-separated indexing
- This field is for the beginning and ending publication dates of the series, with a space-dash-space in between.
- This field includes the complete date information of the first and last issue of the series, not just the year(s) of publication.
- If there is only one issue of a series, this field will only have one date.
- If the series is currently being published, this field's second element will be "Present"
- Examples:
May 1960 - August-September 1967 December 1954-January 1955 - June 1959 1980 [March] 1993 - [May] 1993 January 2007 - Present [circa 1960s]
