Years of Publication

• We record the years from to the publication dates (not on-sale dates) of the first and last issue of a series

• Series Year Began (Years of Publication, first field)

• Required field

• Format: 4 digit year of the first issue of the series.

• Unknown Series Began date: If the date of the first issue is unknown, enter a best guess, or if you have absolutely no idea, enter 9999. This field will not accept anything but a four-digit number.

• Series Year Ended (Years of Publication, second field)

• Required field, if series has ended

• Format: 4 digit year of the first issue of the series.

• Unknown Series Ended date: If the date of the last issue is unknown, enter a best guess.

• If this series is currently being published mark 'Is current'.
